ScopeCore booking, discovery, live tracking, and overall app reliability
Problem
As ZappQ scaled and onboarded more hospitals and users, reliability and usability issues began affecting core user flows. Key issues:
- Frequent bugs across booking, discovery, and tracking flows
- Live token and appointment status were unclear or unreliable
- UX inconsistencies and confusing interactions
- Hospital discovery and listing were not optimized
- Users had to re-enter details repeatedly for bookings
- Release instability and inconsistent product behavior
This reduced product reliability and user trust.
Root Cause
The app evolved rapidly without sufficient stabilization and product maturity.
- Limited stabilization cycles between releases
- UX flows not optimized based on real-world usage
- Lack of structured prioritization of product fixes
- Weak product foundations as system scaled
The product needed focused stabilization and maturity improvements.
Solution
Led structured stabilization and maturity improvements across the user app. Key changes:
- Strategically prioritized product stabilization and reliability over new feature development to ensure long-term product trust and scalability
- Identified and prioritized critical reliability and usability issues
- Worked with engineers to resolve bugs across core flows
- Improved booking, discovery, and live tracking reliability
- Redesigned key UX flows to improve clarity and usability
- Improved hospital discovery and listing structure
- Introduced family profile system to simplify repeat booking
- Established structured backlog prioritization and stabilization process
This significantly improved product stability and usability.
